Booking software
without the bloat

No forced payment processor, no setup calls. Just a page clients can book on today.

You keep control of payment

By default, clients pick how they'll pay - cash, card reader, a payment link you send - and you collect it your way, with 1minutebooking never touching the money. Want payment collected right on the booking page instead? Turn on optional Stripe Payments for a deposit or full payment upfront.

Spam-resistant by default

Every booking is automatically checked for VPN, proxy, and spam signals. Optional hCaptcha and rate limiting keep junk requests from ever cluttering your calendar.

Live in minutes

Pick a business type, get starter services and add-ons pre-filled, and share your link. Edit anything from your dashboard whenever you like.

Questions solo business owners ask

Is it really 1 minute to book?

For clients, yes - it's one page: pick a service, pick an open time slot, fill in a couple of details, and submit. No account, no page reloads. For you, "bookable in a minute" is about getting your page live fast - sign up, pick a business type, and starter services are pre-filled so you're not starting from a blank page. Actual time can vary a bit if you add lots of custom fields or a long policy for clients to read.

Can clients pay me by credit or debit card?

Yes - turn on Stripe Payments in your dashboard and a client's card gets charged, in full or as a deposit, straight into your own Stripe account before their request is even sent. It's entirely optional, though - you're always in control of payment, and can just as easily take cash, run a card in person with something like Square, or send your own payment link instead.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. The Free plan needs only a Google sign-in - no credit card, ever.

Does this connect with Google Calendar or another calendar app?

Every booking comes with a ready-made Add to Calendar link (Google, Apple, Outlook.com, and iCal), so you can drop the appointment straight into your calendar in one click - but there's no live two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, or any other calendar app. 1minutebooking uses its own built-in calendar based on your Business Hours, Blackout Dates, and existing bookings, so nothing syncs back the other way - add a blackout date to block off time you've booked elsewhere.

Do I need to download an app?

No. 1minutebooking is entirely web-based - it works from any browser on desktop or mobile, nothing to install.

Can I use this if it's just me - no staff?

Yes. Every account is built for one person - no staff accounts, no team scheduling to configure. If it's just you, this is built for you.

Is this only for certain industries, like real estate agents?

It works for any solo, appointment-based business - personal trainers, real estate agents, salons, massage therapists, photographers, tutors, consultants, cleaners, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, financial advisors, notaries, and more.

How do clients actually book with me?

You share your booking page link - in your bio, a text, an email, your website. Clients open it, pick a service and time, and submit a request. That's it - no app, no setup on your end beyond sharing the link.

Do clients need to create an account to book?

No. Clients pick a service and time and submit a request - no login or account required on their end.

Do you take a cut of my bookings?

By default, no - payment is collected by you, directly from the client (in person, by card reader, or a payment link you send), and 1minutebooking never touches it. The one exception is the optional Stripe Payments feature (off unless you turn it on): if you use it to collect a deposit or full payment right on your booking page, 1minutebooking takes a fixed 2% fee on those Stripe-processed charges only.

Can I change the colors on my booking page?

Yes, on the Pro plan - accent color (buttons, selected options, prices), page background, text color, and card background are all customizable with a live preview, or you can reset to the defaults in one click. The Free plan uses the default color scheme.

Can I add my own logo?

Yes, also a Pro feature - paste a link to a hosted image (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, or SVG) and it appears at the top of your booking page. Leave it blank for no logo.

Can clients book more than one service at a time?

Yes, if you turn on "Allow multiple services to be selected at once" in Service Types - you can apply it to all your services or restrict which ones can be combined with each other. A service left unchecked can still be booked on its own, it just can't be paired with anything else.

Can I offer optional extras, like an extra 15 minutes or a rush fee?

Yes - Add-ons let you charge for optional extras, each with its own price and, if you want, extra time added to the appointment. You can restrict an add-on to specific services, let clients pick a quantity (e.g. 3 bedrooms, up to a max you set), or make it required for certain services.

Can I run different hours on different days, or close early on Fridays?

Yes - Business Hours are set per day of the week, each with its own open and close time, all shown in your account's timezone.

Can I stop clients from booking last-minute, or too far in the future?

Yes - you can require a minimum notice window (in hours) before a slot can be booked, and separately cap how many days in advance someone can book (90 days by default, adjustable up to 365).

Can I add gap time between appointments so I'm not double-booked back-to-back?

Yes - buffer time adds a fixed gap of 5 to 60 minutes after each booked appointment before the next slot opens up.

If someone books but doesn't pay, does it still block my calendar?

By default, yes - a pending, unconfirmed booking blocks that time slot from being booked again. You can turn this off if you'd rather let other clients book over a still-pending request.

Can I block off a vacation or holiday so no one can book then?

Yes - Blackout Dates mark specific dates as fully unavailable, with an optional reason for your own reference.

Can I ask for more than name, email, and phone on the booking form?

Yes - Custom Fields let you add extra questions (plain text, single choice, or multiple choice), mark any as required, and reorder them. You can also turn on an address field, optional or required.

I work out of more than one location - can clients pick one?

Yes - add your locations under Booking Form Fields, then turn on requiring a location so clients choose one with radio buttons or several with checkboxes, depending on how you set it up.

Can I offer discount codes?

Yes - coupons apply a percent or flat-amount discount to the pre-tax subtotal, with an optional expiry date. A booking can never be discounted below $0.

Do I have to charge tax?

No, it's off by default - turn on "Charge tax on bookings," set a rate, and optionally add a tax ID number to show on receipts.

Which payment methods can I offer, and can I control the order they show in?

Yes - choose which methods appear (cash, card reader, a payment link, etc.) and drag their order; whatever you check shows on the booking page in that order. These are just labels the client picks - 1minutebooking itself never processes or touches that money. The one exception is the separate, optional Stripe Payments feature, which does run a real charge through the site if you turn it on.

Can I require clients to agree to terms before booking?

Yes - Policies & Terms lets you require acceptance of your own terms and conditions text, plus show a cancellation policy with a notice window you set (e.g. 24 hours).

Can I embed booking on my own website instead of just sharing a link?

Yes - the Embed & Share panel generates an embeddable HTML snippet, with a customizable button text, color, and shape (rounded, pill, or square), for Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or any site - plus a plain link for a social media bio.

How do I stop bots and spam bookings?

If hCaptcha keys are configured for your install, you can require hCaptcha on the booking form, always require it for known VPN or proxy traffic, and set how many free submissions per IP are allowed before it kicks in.

Can I change my booking page's URL, or take it offline temporarily?

Both. Your page's slug (the part after /book/) can be edited any time, as long as it's lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens and not already taken. A separate toggle takes your whole booking page offline - visitors see a "not found" page - while you keep full access to log in and manage settings.

Can I export my booking data?

Yes, on Pro - export every appointment (client contact info, service, date and time, price, and status) to an Excel file, optionally filtered by date range and status.

How customizable is 1minutebooking's pricing logic?

Very - add-ons support client-set quantities (with a min/max you choose), preset single- or multi-choice options where each option has its own price and duration, restriction to specific service types, and can be marked required only for those service types. Service types themselves can also carry a quantity and have their own rules for which combinations are allowed together. See the full customization breakdown for every control.

Can I ask custom questions on my booking page?

Yes - up to 10 Custom Fields, each a free-text, single-choice, or multiple-choice question, independently markable as required and reorderable, on top of the built-in name, email, phone, and address fields, each of which can independently be shown, hidden, made optional, or required.

Is 1minutebooking more customizable than BookingKoala or Square Appointments?

For a solo operator's own pricing logic and booking-form questions specifically, yes - conditional per-service add-on requirements, quantity and preset-option pricing, and up to 10 custom questions are all native to the free plan, with no staff/per-seat pricing to unlock them. See how it compares to BookingKoala and Square Appointments.
